The World Cup of Tennis
The World Cup of Tennis
Tennis fans all around the world will have fond memories of their Nation’s participation in the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup over the years, and it was a proud moment when we were announced as the Official Global Partner of these prestigious tournaments, in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). We will be part of all the excitement from the first serve in February’s Qualifiers to the title winning points at November’s Final 8 in Malaga, as the world’s finest players battle it out for glory to be crowned World Champions.
Steeped in History
Launched in 1900, the Davis Cup is steeped in history and is the world’s largest annual international team competition in sport. A record 157 nations have entered in 2024. Last year, Italy, led by a masterful performance from Jannik Sinner, took home the title, defeating Australia in the Final. This year, Sinner will be among the world’s best male players striving to bring the title back to their country, with the culmination of the tournament once again taking place in Malaga in November
Truly Epic Matches
Since its inception in 1960 as the Federation Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup has seen no less drama than the Davis Cup and has seen some truly epic matches in recent times. Some of the world’s greatest have flown the flag for their country and this year will be no different with 2023 MVP Leylah Fernandez and reigning champions Canada in contention again. Czech Republic have dominated over the last twenty years, but keep an eye out for France, Switzerland and Poland, who could all spring a surprise in Seville come the Finals.
