Gems Bonanza Slot Features
Tumble Feature (Cascading Reels)
The tumble feature, or cascading reels feature removes winning symbols from the grid, which enables new ones to drop down from above, hence the name. If you win again, the tumble feature repeats. This continues until no new winning clusters are formed, and the next spin can take place.
Modifiers
Throughout the base game, special colored markers appear randomly on the board behind the symbols. If you win on the spot that has been marked by one of these markers, you can trigger one of the following five modifiers:
Blue/Nuclear: The screen is cleared completely, enabling a new batch of symbols to appear in their place.
Pink/Wild: Where one random symbol appears on the grid, they are turned wild.
Yellow-brown/Squares: 2x2 blocks of the same symbol are randomly added to positions on the grid.
Red/Colossal: 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 blocks of the same symbol added to positions on the grid.
Green/Lucky: 5-15 wilds are added to the grid randomly.
If you win more than one modifier per spin, they play out in the order listed above.
Gold Fever
Another feature of this slot is the Gold Fever progressive bonus. When a winning cluster explodes on screen, it fills a part of the Gold Fever meter, which is situated on the right of the screen. If you collect 114 winning symbols, the Gold Fever meter will be full. As a result, the progressive feature launches.
The Gold Fever progressive feature consists of 5 tiers and begins at level 1. At each level, you play all spin modifiers once in sequential order, beginning with a win multiplier of x2. You continue moving to the next level when symbols are collected and the Gold Fever meter is filled.
