Frankie Dettori
Horse RacingA Career Like No Other
The Derby, the Arc, the Japan Cup, the Breeders' Cup Turf, Classic, Mile and Juvenile, the Dubai World Cup, the Canadian International, the Hong Kong Cup, the Oaks, the International and the Sheema Classic. CVs as glittering as Frankie Dettori's are few and far between in any sport.
Spanning nearly 40 years, there is little Dettori has not experienced. He has ridden some of the greatest horses of all time, including Enable, Golden Horn, Stradivarius, Dubai Millennium, Dubawi and Singspiel, and there is not a Group 1 he has not ridden in or a racecourse he has not visited.
The Magnificent Seven
At the British Festival of Racing at Ascot, Dettori rode the winner of every single race on the card. The 'Magnificent Seven' was a feat so unlikely that it made him a household name overnight, and almost 30 years on it remains the single most celebrated day by a jockey in the sport's modern history.

Honoured with a Statue
His achievements have been honoured with a statue at Ascot, home of that famous afternoon. One of the most charismatic personalities in world sport and a natural born showman, Dettori is as recognisable off a horse as on one.
