Team Vitality are one of the most decorated teams in modern CS2 history, and Stake.us brings you closer to every match. The team made history by winning two Major tournaments back-to-back - the first time this has happened in CS2, and the first time in Counter-Strike overall since 2019. With their trophy win from StarLadder Budapest, Team Vitality became back-to-back Major champions, winning in both versions of the game and taking two Majors in a row (CS:GO Paris 2023, CS2 Austin 2025, CS2 Budapest 2025). Their dominant run in 2025 includes victories at ESL Pro League, IEM Katowice, IEM Melbourne, the Austin Major, and Budapest - cementing their place as the #1 CS2 team in the world, and one of the greatest winning streaks in history.
A Legendary Roster
Team Vitality is home to some of the most skilled and iconic players in professional competitive gaming. Their current roster features the legendary in-game leader Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, who secured his Major number four this winter, making him one of only nine players in Counter-Strike history who have achieved titles at Cluj-Napoca 2015, Paris 2023, Austin 2025, and Budapest 2025. He also holds the record for the most tournament wins (35) by any player in CS history and the player with the most prize pool earnings ever. The world-class AWPer Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, with a 3 MVP Major awards, the consistent lurker Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, the impactful rifler William "mezii" Merriman, and the tactically brilliant Robin "ropz" Kool, represent a formidable blend of experience and raw talent. ZywOo earned his 28th MVP award, setting a new all-time world record. Mezii has also made history of his own, becoming the first British player ever to win two CS Majors.
